“The reason for ordering a made-to-measure bookcase was simple: we wanted to support a large book collection without making the whole wall feel heavy. The solution was not simple, though. The local point that mattered in our case was hot bright interiors. It changed one detail, but not the overall look. We were given two sensible routes, with the cost difference explained, and chose without feeling rushed. The doors needed a minor regulation after they settled. One message was enough to arrange it.”
